Gossip Gowns
Gossip Gowns had a three-floor Brisbane showroom, a cult TikTok following and a website that barely sold a dress. We rebuilt the store and made the catalogue legible to Google Shopping, and August 2026 was its best month on record.
When someone nearby searches for what you do, Google shows three businesses on a map before any website. We set up your Google Business Profile, post to it every week and show you each month where you rank across your area.
Google ranks local businesses on three things: how well the profile matches the search, how close the business is and how well known it is. You can’t move your office. The other two depend mostly on your Business Profile.
The profiles we’re asked to look at usually have the same gaps. The primary category is too broad. Services, photos and hours are half filled in. The last post was months ago. Reviews sit unanswered.
Some have bigger problems. A service business shows a home address Google says should be hidden. A name with keywords added gets the profile suspended. The website lists a different phone number from the profile, so Google trusts neither.
Google now answers questions about your business with AI, using your profile and your reviews. A thin profile gives it less to work with.
The most specific primary category, then services, products, attributes, hours, photos and a description written around how people search. Service-area businesses get their address hidden and their areas set, as Google's rules ask.
Offers, services, seasonal updates and answers to the questions customers ask. You approve a month's posts in one go, and we publish them on schedule.
Rankings change a few blocks from your door. We check your position from a grid of points across your suburb or city, so you see which areas you win.
The same name, address and phone number on both, location pages for each branch, and local schema (code that tells Google where you are). We build WordPress sites, so we make those changes ourselves.
Medical, dental, allied health and wellness.
Retail with a door people walk through.
Accountants, lawyers, advisers and conveyancers with an office.

Each branch with its own profile and its own map.
Every plan starts with a one-off profile setup for $697. Cancel with a month's notice.
Extra locations are priced per profile.
You add us as a manager on the profile. It stays in your name.
Map rankings, calls, direction requests and website clicks recorded before we change anything.
Category, services, photos and description rebuilt around how people search.
Name, address and phone number on the site checked against the profile and fixed.
A month of posts approved in one go, then published on schedule.

You approve them, we publish them.
A grid of points checked every month.
New reviews flagged the day they land.
The same name, address and phone number as the profile.

When the profile and the site disagree, we change whichever is wrong.
You see rankings across your whole area, from more than your own office.
Written around what local customers search for.
No contract. A month's notice ends the plan.
You add us as a manager. We record where you rank from a grid of points across your area, along with last month’s calls, direction requests and website clicks. Every report after that is measured against this.
We pick the most specific primary category and add only the extra categories that describe the business. Services, products, hours, attributes and photos get filled in. If the name carries extra words, or a service business shows its address, we fix it before Google does.
The site’s name, address and phone number are matched to the profile, and local schema goes in. The first month of posts is approved and scheduled. From here the plan runs week by week.

You do. We’re added as managers and you can remove us any time.
It helps a lot. The profile links to your site, and Google checks the two agree. We can work with any site, though we build in WordPress.
Profile fixes often show within weeks. Ranking across a whole area takes a few months of steady activity.
We flag new reviews, draft replies and give you a simple way to ask every customer. Google doesn’t allow rewards for reviews or asking only happy customers, so we don’t do either.
Yes, usually for keywords added to the business name, a hidden address shown, or details that don’t match the website. We set the profile up inside Google’s guidelines, so those triggers aren’t there to start with.
Yes. Service-area businesses hide their address and list the areas they cover, which is what Google’s rules ask for.
Yes. Each location has its own profile, posts and tracking, priced per profile.
Yes. Plans and reporting are the same in both.
No one can. Google says there’s no way to pay for a better local ranking. Ads appear above the map, and those are a separate service.
No. Monthly plans, cancelled with a month’s notice. You can move up or down a plan from the next month.
