Overview

When you hear the phrase “going green”, I’m sure it invokes the idea of recycling and doing your part to help the environment.  Well sure it does, but it also refers to adopting the vegetarian way of life and nutrition.  People often think that eating vegetarian means tasteless and inevitable food one has to force themselves to enjoy.  Fortunately that’s simply not the case, as former lawyer Shalu Asnani set out to prove with the Little Green Kitchen.  With the Little Green Kitchen, Shalu has set out to show that eating vegetarian can be a very exciting and enjoyable experience.

In order to help open people’s minds and educate them about how great vegetarian food can be, Shalu got in touch with Chillybin to build a website that allows her to share recipes, promote her cooking classes, and professional catering services.  We jumped right in and got to work converting her previous website from Joomla, then implementing a clean and classic responsive web design for the site powered by Wordpress and the Genesis Framework.  On top of that, we implemented PayPal integration as well as an events system to let her audience stay up to date on what’s happening and when.
